Bucco Beat – 2013 – Episode 3

 Michael McKenry, Pedro Alvarez

The Pirates wrapped up an impressive 7-2 home stand with a 4-2 victory over the Atlanta Braves this afternoon at PNC Park.  They now sit with a 10-8 overall record, and after a difficult 1-5 start to the season, the Bucs have won nine of their last twelve games.

We take a look at the Pirates home stand, including the starting pitching and offense production for each game of the series against the Braves as well as the St. Louis Cardinals.  We dissect and discuss the starting pitching rotation, and also look ahead to changes that might be made when Francisco Liriano and Charlie Morton are healthy.  We also look ahead to the Pirates’ upcoming road trip against the Philadelphia Phillies, Cardinals, and Milwaukee Brewers.

And don’t worry…we also have a brand new edition of Ask Zane Anything.

So sit back and enjoy the podcast everyone!

As Always…

Let’s Go Bucs!
